Our church stands firm in proclaiming the word of the Lord across racial, generational, lifestyle, and other boundaries, but it’s not always easy to put into practice.Hello, fellow believers! It’s been a transformative journey for me as I grapple with the idea of embracing diversity, especially when it appears to clash with teachings from my past. Growing up, I was instilled with certain beliefs and traditions that seemed at odds with the concept of embracing diversity. It’s a struggle that many of us face as we navigate the complexities of faith in a diverse world.Growing up, I was taught certain beliefs and traditions that sometimes clashed with the idea of embracing diversity. I’ve learned, however, that our progressive-minded, Holy Spirit-led community challenges those notions. The teachings of Jesus show us that love knows no boundaries.
