1= Unity and New Beginnings

• Deuteronomy 6:4 “ Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one”
  • This lets us know that there is only one God and sets him apart from others.
• Ephesians 4:4-6 “There is just one body and one spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and our Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all
  • There’s unity among believers because we all serve one God
• Matthew 6:33 “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well
  • Put God first in every area of your life

7= Completion, Rest, and Perfection

7 is spiritual completeness, fulfillment and Gods finished work.

• Genesis 2:2-3 “By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.”
  • Seventh day is a day of rest

Lesson

1. God finishes what he starts
2. Spiritual maturity develops over time
3. Gods timing is perfect
4. Rest is apart of God’s design

8= New Beginning and Resurrection 

• 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here”
  • With Salvation comes a new identity and God’s mercy is greater than our past and God will give you a fresh start.

1. Make God your first and highest priority
2. Trust God’s timing and rest in his completion
3. Embrace the new life God offers through Christ, and leave the past behind you
